What makes your law firm unique?

The Kisner Law Firm has the experience, talent, and resources to assist any client.
Our small size means that we relate well to small businesses and understand their
needs on a personal level.

Describe your ideal client.

The clients who benefit the most from legal representation are those who contact an
attorney sooner, rather than later, in the process. Whenever possible, we try to
counsel our clients to prevent and avoid litigation. When there is a dispute, we fight
aggressively and push for a quick resolution to save time and money.

Describe your personal interest and hobbies.

I am extremely interested in classic rock and live music performances. I make a
point to see as many concerts as possible every year. I also love my two Basset
Hounds, Brandy and Hope, who enjoy walks around the Regent Square
neighborhood. Like many western Pennsylvania natives, I am an avid fan of the
region’s professional and college sports teams.

Describe your charitable activities.

I volunteer extensively in my community, particularly as a leader with the Junior
League of Pittsburgh, a non-profit women’s organization committed to promoting
voluntarism and improving local communities. I chaired the Junior League of
Pittsburgh’s 2007 Designers’ Show House, the League’s largest fundraiser for its
community service projects. That project raised a record $122,000 for a playground
build initiative and other mission-related projects. I am Vice President of the
Greater Pittsburgh Chapter of the WVU Alumni Association, and I help steer its
charitable golf outing supporting a scholarship fund for a local high school graduate.
